Only one small light to shine in the vast darkness that surrounds…
The River Range Rear Lighthouse, lighting the way on the Niagara River in by-gone years. Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. There are actually two lighthouses within close vicinity, one for the Niagara River and the other for Lake Ontario.
More Niagara-on-the-Lake photos and travel info to come. It’s only 18 miles from Niagara Falls with many treats and treasures.
Thank you…
That’s one of the nicest looking lighthouses I’ve seen. Why are lighthouses so pleasing to look at?
I think it’s all the nostalgia we associate with them. Past days of mystery and darkness, danger, death, hope, safety, light and life; all dependent on one person’s dependability. Their job and the drudgery and ease of it. The ships that passed. Can we start writing now?
So beautiful, always lighting the way………..
Aren’t lighthouses great? I DO love them…
Love them and I seem to keep posting!!!!!!!!! LOL
Yes you do, yes you do, yes you do, do, DO! 😉
So beautiful, lighting our way…………….
So Beautiful as it lights our way…..
